madame tousseuo's So, we just had Spring break (pretty early this year) and I went to New York City! It was amazing! Although expensive, it's totally worth it! There's so much to see, like the Empire State Building, Central Park, Times Square, etc. I recommend taking the city sights bus tour! It's really awesome! It's one way to see everything, except not really go there. (You just pass it the place and the guide talks to you about it! I also recommend seeing Madame Tousseou's Wax Museum! Everything there is amazing and so life like! If you go shopping in Soho and Greenwich Village, it's something you will not forget! Those two area's are some of the best places to shop in NYC. If you go up in the elevators at the Empire State Building, your ears actually pop! it also offers a great view of the city. Square is SOOOO Huge! Big flashing signs are everywhere, and it's yet another great place to shop! (although it can get to be quite expensive.) Two more interesting museum's to see are the Guggenhiem (designed by Wisconsin native Frank Lloyd Wright) and the M.O.M.A (Museum of Modern Art- has the famous painting Starry Night by Vincent van Gough.) And finally, don't forget the Halal guys- these are street vendors that offer GREAT Indian/ Greek food at a really cheap price! Plus, they're pretty much everywhere. I even had Halal food two days in a row! Overall, I defenatly would go to NYC! (and who wouldn't want to???)
